It looks good apart from GC diagram 1 being a 180.

Is it as simple as just dropping an "I'd like to look at the diagrams" request? I've tried that and not got any luck so far :( .

I posted that in March last year, when there were detailed 377-6 diagrams in the 'Dec 13' section of the group's files section.

That was no guarantee that the same info would be made available every year, they rely on insider information which may or may not be made available subsequently, or if the info is no longer news worthy, as in this case.

Evening :) Am I right in saying that the following services via Amersham are booked for Class 168 units?
2C79 1818 Aylesbury Vale Parkway to London Marylebone
2B67 1918 London Marylebone to Aylesbury

Are there any other services calling inside the TfL zones that use Class 168s?

Thanks in advance :)

Does anyone know the diagrams for TPE 185s going to Scotland? I understand there are still some occurances each week?

Good morning,

I was looking on the very useful thread that shows which services are loco hauled and I have a query about the loco hauled silver Chiltern trains services from London to Brum, weekdays.

Looking at the thread, it appears that both the 1015 & 1045 from Marylebone are loco hauled, is that correct? I was not sure how the diagram numbers work, are these altenated weekly perhaps? I have previously always used the 1015 going up and 1555 I think coming back.

1R22 MYB 1015 - BMO 1159 (4)
1G25 MYB 1045 - BSW 1248 (5)

Tks.

Yes, the 10.45 is hauled.
If I may rearrange the list in the other thread, it shows five locos booked to work.
Thus:

Loco 1:
1H16 PRR 0744 - MYB 0825
1R15 MYB 0845 - BMO 1044
1H43 BMO 1055 - MYB 1234
1R37 MYB 1315 - BMO 1459
1H69 BMO 1555 - MYB 1742
1K62 MYB 1815 - KID 2048

Loco 2:
1H18 KID 0609 - MYB 0829
1K65 MYB 1847 - KID 2126

Loco 3:
1H20 BAN 0744 - MYB 0900
1U61 MYB 1750 - BAN 1907

Loco 4:
1H21 SBJ 0638 - MYB 0903
1R22 MYB 1015 - BMO 1159
1H53 BMO 1255 - MYB 1434
1R55 MYB 1647 - BMO 1840

Loco 5:
1H26 KID 0705 - MYB 0936
1G25 MYB 1045 - BSW 1248
1H55 BSW 1312 - MYB 1508
1K57 MYB 1715 - KID 1931

The actual loco on a diagram varies day to day (sometimes it can change during the day).
Hope that's useful.

Yes, thank you for that. Interesting that both the 1015 & 1045 are loco hauled. Good as it gives more choice. Now just wait to see if they bring back the 50p Evening Standard offer again soon?

What are the diagrams for the Northern class 319s? I understand they were posted in the thread but I'm not sure what page?

What's happened to the LM 321 diagrams? I assume they're staying the same when it goes to 319s.

Thanks very much! The reason I ask is I'm looking to try to get one of the 319s on Monday. I'll let you know if I do and if they're on the same diagrams.

As mentioned, diagram 1 is 180 (yesterday 180101).However on arrival at KX, 1A66 forms 1D95 to Bradford, whilst 1A67 ex Bradford forms 1N96 to Sunderland. then 5N96 ecs to Heaton.

This enables one of the three 180s on the Bradford Interchange-KX route to work back to Heaton each day.

Another word for the (as I understand it) Friday and Sunday diagrams of 185s to Scotland being very useful to include?

Today the 321s had their last turn on the mainline, which was:

0554 MKC - EUS
0705 EUS - TRI
0804 TRI - EUS
1654 EUS-TRI
1840 EUS-TRI
1930 TRI-EUS
2034 EUS-TRI
2126 TRI-EUS
2224 EUS-NMP

I do not know if this will be what the 319s work on Monday for certain but it will make sense.

Of course there will be a third 319 on the Abbey line, this will be as of 1607 on the Sunday afternoon!

Just as a heads up, it seems the Chiltern diagrams have been extended to Saturday 24th October at some point, taking them up to the public opening of the line to Oxford Parkway.

One thing that is known about the new timetable is that there will be one train each way Monday to Friday (0724 Up and 1818 Down in the last draft issue) which will be formed of a loco-hauled set.

I believe it should also see at least one 168/3 in service as well. In keeping with the existing 168 numbering scheme(ish), these appear to be being numbered 168321 - 168329. (The existing 168 fleet is numbered 168001 - 168005, 168106 - 168113 and 168214 - 168219.)

Why no 168320?

168329 has been shuttling up and down between Banbury and Birmingham all last week. Passed it a few times on what looked like crew training. The interior is fully Chilternised

Hello all,

I'm new to this part of the forum (I'm normally to be found on the Fares and Ticketing section), so I'm wondering if there are diagrams for class 319/2s and 319/4s on Thameslink?

You try telling that to computer programmers!

(Computers typically use zero-based counting.)

Good job they are not in charge! Otherwise the unit would be called 101001000110000001. You'd never be able to write it down in a notebook in time. :D

LM 319 diagrams on the WCML from today are the 07:14 BLY-EUS and the 17:05 EUS-MKC. Can you add this to the thread? You're welcome to use one of my images here: https://mkttransportphoto.smugmug.com/2015/October-2015/London-Midland-319s-first-day/i-Mj39dkV (units are all in Southern or white currently).

Done, as requested :) Also, a general update has been done on the thread (see 442s, damn things :P ) and a re-ordering has taken place since Virgin and First have been messing around with their brands.
