Already completed the psych tests for GWR So hopefully this should be a cake walk.
Me too.
Reading the example question though, I can tell these won't be easy! Literally have no idea what they expect as the correct order for the hotel food question... I'll try the practice questions later lol
Just been invited to complete the two online tests, any advice?
Cool some light reading for bedtime then lolIf you haven’t already Scratch about 2 hours from your day and read this post from the start. There’s loads of detail from posters who have just sat them.

Here you are...

Ideally don't use a laptop, use a proper desktop. If you don't have one then at least get a proper mouse, a touchpad won't help you at all.
Thanks for that mate, very helpful! Are these the questions you had or are they just some of the possible ones they could throw at me?
Cheers![]()
Good point, I forgot about the mouse! I did all my tests on a laptop to be fair, worked a treat.
Hi everyone,
I've passed the first stage and now have the two online tests to complete. Two questions:
1) I've seen mention of high demand / low demand with regard to part 2 of VSE, could someone expand on what exactly this is in the context of the test?
2) The trainee driver application had a 7 point list of the application process, does anyone have a copy of this? Now the advert is removed I can't find it again.
Thanks

Ah right OK, I didn't realise everyone got the same questions. I thought they based your questions on your answers to an SJE test you have beforehand? No problem! They are the exact questions

I think there’s a variety of questions, however I think you’ll find that Freightliner use their set questions, whereas other TOCs do the same, but they can vary from company to company. They base their ‘probing’ around your SJE answers I believe.Ah right OK, I didn't realise everyone got the same questions. I did mine on my MAC BookPro, had no issuesIdeally don't use a laptop, use a proper desktop. If you don't have one then at least get a proper mouse, a touchpad won't help you at all.
OPC have emailed me saying I’m successful to the next round.
VSE and M7-SJT online test.
I think to be honest it’s potentially tricky even with a mouse as you’re back and fourth an awful lot in the last part!I did mine on my MAC BookPro, had no issues
Had a call from them today in regards to considering Thamesport instead of Tilbury. Seems like the courses for Tilbury are not going to be for a long time whereas Thamesport starts in Feb.
Will be travelling a bit further but thought hey ho let’s just go for it so I can get started ASAP.

Well I’m aware that MTR, Arriva and Freightliner all use these exact questions, not too sure about the other TOCs.

Oh right ok then, thank you very much both![]()

I’m struggling with “give an example when you’ve followed strict rules and procedures.”
I’m mainly on the road deliverying so I was going to use following the rules on the road as an example. I’m just hoping that’s a strong enough response.
You don't need to think about it being the best example, you just need to show that you have and can follow them, you must have rules and procedures to do with health and safety? Or what happens when a delivery goes wrong for whatever reason?
