I had my stage 2 yesterday mate, I was told course can start as late as May next year

How did you get on ? Hope it went well.

I passed the MMI just waiting to hear back about the DMI, not gonna hold my breath as feel I could have done alot better!

It’s always the way after an interview, you feel it could have gone better fingers crossed you get in. Was the mmi as tough as what some have said?

I think its only tough if you make it if that makes sense, was harder for me as I failed it last year however since then I gained new experience that I could use for the examples so I could recite them easily and go into detail and wrote them down on paper in the STAR format to make them more concise, I also did a mock interview with a friend at the job centre but that's just me the other guys on the day passed theirs first time without doing any mock interviews! best of luck to you too

Yeah we all got told there that we passed maybe because there was only four of us however you might have to wait until you get the results of the DMI

I would think you are better expecting the unexpected.
I have no idea what I am facing in terms of questions so gonna have to be very reactive on the day.

I need to do some more research on that then, didn’t realise it was fairly standard questions.

Yeah well as far as I know but obviously not 100 percent sure. I have been working on some but knowing my luck the questions will change !! Lol.

Hope so mate, well got all of stage 2 to do next Wednesday. Not got to this stage before so just hoping I get through the computer bit first if they do that before the interviews or is it interviews first.? When is yours?

This is first time for me too so no idea on the structure of the day. Hopefully somebody on here can give you more advice on that.

29th November for Garston, strange as I thought people from the same depot were on the same day due to Line Manager being present.

I’m Garston and on 28th Nov.....sure there was someone else on here who applied to Garston also around those dates.

Well done mate! At least you passed the MMI nonetheless. Did you have to do all stage 2 tests? If you’ve passed them all that’s good anyway as even if you weren’t successful for Freightliner you can use the results elsewhere. Good luck! I’ve found that sometimes I’ve been pleasantly surprised that an interview went better than I thought, they can be very hard to call!

Just got home after stage 2. All OPC stuff passed, so at least that is something off my mind for future applications! DMI seemed ok, but I suppose time will tell. 3 weeks to wait for any more info!
