In the same boat as you. I’ve read on here that people are having their DMI on the same day as stage 2 and MMI? Not sure if that’s correct as id imagine the DMI would be done separately. Likewise however I am awaiting a line manager interview which I assume is the DMI. I’m a different depot however. Good luck
Cheers pal, same to you. Can't obviously speak for Freightliners process, but I've had two DMI (Line manager as Freightliner call it), and both times it's been a seperate part. One TOC had it first before anything else, the other was the very last.

Thank you. Do you happen to know if the line manager interviews are at the specific depot or elsewhere?

The email said I'd be doing computer tests, MMI and then a manager interview by personnel from Freightliner all on same day. I take it that meant a DMI?

Yeh I’d imagine the manager interview is the DMI. Perhaps computer tests and MMI in the morning and then the DMI in the afternoon? After which if successful the next stage is the medical I believe.

So am I right in thinking it'll be a day of pass or fail? So, Computer tests if pass move on to MMI. If pass MMI move on to DMI? If fail any point of you trot homeward bound?

I’m not entirely sure, because the first stage freightliner assesments everyone got to complete every test before they were marked but with a smaller amount of people doing stage 2 they may check results before allowing you to do the next one I’m not sure?

When I did mine with VTEC we did the paper (stage one) and computer (stage 2) and MMI all in one day. Each test was marked and if you failed you would be sent home and not be able to do the next test. There was only 3 of us there on the day so they were able to mark quickly.

No I don't know pal, it just said in the email that my application is now passed over to Freightliner, and that they themselves would be in touch to arrange the line manager interview. Nothing about location.

I think its a case of do it all in the day interviews and all and then they will let you know in a few days time.. wonder how many people there will be attending each day

The last time I did stage two, each test was completed then the examiner would give results there and then and if it was a pass, it was onto the next, if a fail then candidates were informed and sent home.
Freightliner could of course do things totally different pal.

As they're computer tests you'd think the results would be available immediately?

When I did my tests, I was told the results of my computer tests straight after I completed them, therefore I was able to progress on to the mmi.

I thought after completing them that I failed....or at best couldn’t call it either way. You might be pleasantly surprised so don’t panick.
I opened my emails today and was pleasantly surprised. I have been invited to do further tests!! So that must mean they have a big leeway for errors?? This upcoming test seems harder so hopefully i can miraculously pass this one too. (So over the moon!) Hope everyone else has had good news too

Well done! As I said, I wasn’t convinced at first but I think it’s as much about how you get back on track as it were, as it is about over all accuracy. (I think you’re still talking about the VSE and SJT?).

Edit: Mods, please remove deleted posts. I cocked with who I was replying to and as far as I can see there’s no proper delete option? :D

Have faith and patience , I have read they have had a lot of people apply .so you can imagine trying to sieve through all applicants. If it helps at all . I got atleast 9-10 questions wrong on the fault spotting and one on the shapes (can't say how many I got wrong on the test as I am not sure) and I managed to get through. So stay positive .

Mizzmo, are you talking about the tests you sat at the hotel in Crewe?

I was referring to the assessment at Crewe, at the ibis hotel.

Still waiting for my results, feel a bit more relieved knowing that other applicants are only just finding out there results and don't feel too forgotten. Good luck to those who have got their stage 2 dates, really hope I can join you.
