To clarify

For all. The difference between Standard and Enhanced it not your scores

It’s a matter of doing the DFFT test. That’s what makes it enhanced. Most TOCS don’t include the DFFT test
Oh really? I didn’t know that, I thought by “enhanced” it meant the scores the candidate achieved must be higher than a “normal’ pass mark.

Other than the practice material sent by the OPC, what else are people doing to practice?

I’ve seen that the OPC are selling practice material, but is this the same as the practice material I’ve been sent in the email? This is what I am referring to - http://www.theopc.co.uk/assessment/practice-tests/
I bought the dfft practice stuff, it gives you 15 questions to practice which helps you get you head around the principle of the test. I found it pretty useful. Good luck on your assessment.

Morning all,

just got my date for assessment. I believe I only need to sit TRP2 and the DFFT.

I got myself all confused for the TRP2. So I'll need to listen to the instructions a little better.

Also I've got my head around the DFFT practice, would anyone advice buying the additional practice material from the OPC.

Thanks in advance

Enhanced is for all the paper and pencil test's.

Just got out of my Stage 1 assessments.....hard to tell how it went as some people fly through assessments and you can’t compare

9 lines Group Bourdon.
Q28 on the dials
9/10 on DFFT
3/4 of each phone directory.

Don’t think that’s enough but hey ho....find out in the next week or so.

Do you know for sure that Enhanced scores aren't higher also for GBT, Tea-Occ and Dials test? I was under the impression that Freightliner can choose there own criteria and what classes as a pass?

There is a national standard pass Mark. But each TOC sets their own perimeters and if it's higher than the set national standard it's then classed at an Enhanced pass requirement. For example, I pass chiltern and WMT at enhanced for stage 1, but, when I went for the Virgin Apprentice Scheme I was asked to re-do the GBT only as Virgin set a higher standard pass Mark than chiltern and WMT. I turned down that opportunity as I'd already spent a life with OPC and didn't want to fail for Virgin as that's classed as a life because I would have attempted the OPC process twice. Hope this helps. Btw is anyone else on stage 2 tests on Tuesday 4th Sept?. I'm stopping over night before.

Well done you! Also, as you predicted, I only had to do the Group Bourdon test this morning, after that was free to go. :)
What date are you booked for?

Thank you :) Is all the practice material from The OPC the same format/layout as the actual tests? So if I can get my head around the DFFT I will be OK for the actual test? Cheers :)

P.s where are you thinking of staying? I stayed at the IBIS last time because of convenience although I think there is a Premier Inn closer to FL HQ

Hi all.
Received an email Thursday informing I had passed the Group Bourdon and Dfft which I sat on the 23rd. Already passed stage 2 with another TOC so just waiting for Freightliner to contact me with a date for Line manager interview for Peak Forest. Been this far before and was sat in a talent pool for 2 years, so know it's still a long way to go. Anyone else applied for Peak Forest? Good luck to everyone currently in the mix, the lady at the assessments said thousands had applied!

In the same boat as you. I’ve read on here that people are having their DMI on the same day as stage 2 and MMI? Not sure if that’s correct as id imagine the DMI would be done separately. Likewise however I am awaiting a line manager interview which I assume is the DMI. I’m a different depot however. Good luck
