Thanks mate. And good luck for stage 2.Thanks!Freightliner depot, crewe
Just got an email about my VSE & SJT results and I’ve been successful and been invited for the assessment centre on the 14th September! I have no idea how because I was fairly certain I failed on stage 3 of the SJT, I know for a fact I missed a lot of the faults.
I guess I’ll have to buy a suit then? I’ve never needed one before, 23 and never worn one haha.
I know what I'd doWell done mate, I am through to, 12th Sept. But sadly I am at work that day and there is no cover, I have told them and sadly they have told me in a word that its 'tough'.
Dam!
I know what I'd do
Haha stay away from that pink chicken!I know what I'd do

Sit tight, i was there last thursday also..Still waiting to hear backsat the assessments last Thursday.
Everytime my tab vibrates I think it's the OPC lolSit tight, i was there last thursday also..
I got my emails from OPC today regarding SJT & VSE- 3 of them!!
First one said I was unsuccessful, then another to say they apologised for sending that one by mistake, and then a third to say I had been successful and been invited to take the tests on the 12th September!!
Feel a bit overwhelmed at the moment as I know people have been applying for years and not get this far and this is only my 2nd application.
When did you sit round one?
I done mine on 17th August.
Nice one bud. Still a few days for me to hear then I hope!
I'd probably consider a day off due to something, if I'd pleaded to swap my shift with my workmates and begged my company to adjust the shifts to help and it was still impossible.I can't go sick, I work on the railway and it's just too risky.
I'm still waiting, sat mine on the 24th(Friday). Strangely I'm starting to feel like I'm not in a hurry to find out, now people have started to get them.So did anyone else get there stage 1 results today from assesment last week?
If you already work on the railway your company must release you for a job interview, they can't hold you back from progression even for a different company, speak to your union repI can't go sick, I work on the railway and it's just too risky.
Hahahahaha! If only that were true.If you already work on the railway your company must release you for a job interview, they can't hold you back from progression even for a different company, speak to your union rep

Damn that’s no good! I work nights so it means I’ve got to have 2 days off, I can’t work the night before because I won’t be up and I can’t work on the day because I won’t be home in time to start my shift. So I take it the VSE & SJT has a low score requirement then and isn’t “enhanced”? I know for a fact I made a lot of mistakes... unless it’s the reverse of KeviWill’s emails and they’ve sent me a successful email accidentally haha
Do you know for sure that Enhanced scores aren't higher also for GBT, Tea-Occ and Dials test? I was under the impression that Freightliner can choose there own criteria and what classes as a pass? Also I’ve known someone to only have completed 8/20 questions in the DFFT and pass. It’s purely accuracy. Obviously you need speed, you can’t just do 2 or 3! And if you do 8 I imagine they’d all need to be right!
It’s not a race. Take your time and make sure they are all correct. Spend a few seconds checking each answer rather than finishing 1/2 more questions and getting them wrong by rushing.
