I am also awaiting a DMI for Bristol. I've been waiting almost four weeks since being put through to this stage by OPC.

Any other applicants for the depot at a similar stage / awaiting start date?

I have mate, passed all my OPC stuff on 3rd Feb. Not heard anything since the email asking for clothing size, CV etc. Emailed the woman again around a month later and never got a reply. Think from what I remember on here there are at least 2 people on here that have applied for tunstead and actually been given a date.. not sure if that’s a sign for the lengthy wait ‍♂️ If I’ve been put in a talent pool I’d rather just know than keep checking my emails 16492047 times a day ‍♂️

I'm in the same boat as you. Passed all my OPC stuff on the 11th of Feb and got the same email asking for notice period and cv etc. Yeah I think I remember a couple from here which have applied for tunstead aswell but I'm pretty sure they were from previous years applying not this time around? Coming up to 8 weeks not hearing anything I'm probably on par with checking emails aswell, it's the not knowing which is horrible. Have any courses actually started yet or is the one in April the 1st one this year?

Yeah I think they were from previous years, makes me wonder whether they have potentially already sorted tunstead out since the 2 on here we know of nothing else has really been said.. bound to be other people who aren’t on thee forums as well. For me it’s knowing you’ve done everything and passed, but not knowing! I know there is one in April and one in May, I seen a thing somewhere that were 6 courses across the year, but just comes back to what I was seeing if tunstead positions have been filled it won’t really make any difference

They would have know how many they’ve had and therefore won’t have wasted time and money on your assessments if they didn’t need you, I think the fact that you were one of the first of this cohort to pass stands in good deed.

Anybody heard about being on the August course? I got my conditional offer for Sandiacre back in January to start a course in May but had an issue with my blood pressure on my medical. All sorted through my GP now and had an email saying i will be on the course starting August 11th.

I've been told I'm "programmed for August" so probably that course. I don't have a date yet. Hope to see you there all.beinf well.

Medical was supposed to be last week, but was cancelled last minute by the healthcare company due to sickness.

Out of interest, and tell me to sod off if you like, what was your blood pressure issue?

Nice one buddy I hope to see you there too. I got told in my most recent email that my i was cleared as fit for normal duties and my proposed start date was 11th August. I asked if 11th was correct as it is a Thursday and the ladt replied with yes it was correct.

Was your medical planned for the London clinic? Mine originally got cancelled because of storm Eunice, I think, and rearranged for the week after.

My blood pressure was high and heart rate fast in my medical. The lady suspected due to nerves of the occasion. I got referred to my GP who put a 24hr blood pressure monitor determine if my blood pressure was normal or not in my own surroundings at home. Results came back that my blood pressure was normal and it was down to me panicking in my medical. Do not get me wrong I have started a fitness regime and lost weight too

It was supposed to be at Stansted, hopefully it'll get rearranged for next week.

I've suffered from "white coat syndrome" before and had to have a 24hr monitor. All good when at home, hopefully that'll still be that case. I have no idea what is considered "high" these days either.

Thursday is an odd start, I'd certainly take it though, happy to be progressing through the system. Do you know where that course is being run?

Oh right. Mine was on Fleet Street in London. Fingers crossed for you pal. I rang the place direct and rearranged as no one was answering phone or email form HR.

I have heard of white coat syndrome and my doctor told me that is more than likely what i have too. In my medical my BP was 150/108. I do believe they class anything over 140/80 to be high but do not quote me on that one.

I agree Thursday is an odd day but again I will definitely take it. Read a few posts where they have said one month then brought the start date forward a month so I will wait and see. No I have no idea where the course is at the minute

140 / 80 would make sense.

TBH, wherever it is, I'll be happy.

I’ve had an email today asking me to attend a medical on the 5th May! Been told to also expect a conditional offer towards the end of week/ start of next. Absolutely buzzing but also not getting my hopes to high until I have an official start date!

I've had an email asking to attend medical on the 5th of May aswell, with a conditional offer at the end of the week beginning of next week. Can't believe it guessing there doing it regarding depots considering we've both applied for the same so happy. Like you've said not going to get my hopes up fully till I recieve an actual start date with a contract.
