Got email today to say I have passed the interview stage. Just waiting on DMI now. So so happy.
Sorry to hear from those that have missed out.
The interview was tough but just remember it's your story to tell so best advice is give as much detail as possible and something that you have definitely done. The follow up questions they ask during each of the 6 questions left me in no doubt they would have known if I had made it up.

Oh, sorry to hear that… You’ll know what to do for next time though. Did you pass the other two?
Yeah passed them. Just have to wait until 6months. I forgot I’d failed a VSE 7 years ago and now that means I can’t apply for any company using this so just have one national process left. Hopefully I’ll just be required to do this joystick test and the MMI and pass

Well done on the assessment pass! Are the MMI questions very similar to the ones posted throughout this forum? How long did it roughly take?

I only failed the joystick test 2 years ago, I’ve waited for a local TOC to recruit ever since, currently got an application with chiltern in process.

Question, did you find the ball stopped reacting to your movements? Like the screen had frozen and then all of a sudden it jumps as thought it’s unfrozen? I swear mine wasn’t Calibrated very well, or maybe I’m making excuses

Very similar. They say it should take an hour but mine was nearly 2!!! I literally talk for England so didn't want to leave anything on the table.

How long are people waiting for Freightliner to contact them after passing MMI? Just wondering as it’s over a week for me today.

Mine was a 8 days after my MMI and a week after the opc let me know I'd passed. I think this will vary depot to depot though.

did feel jumpy but could have been my nerves lol I couldn’t work out how much of the ball had to be over before it beeped. It seemed like sometimes it was more than others. Any idea what the make of the joysticks were or any place you can buy something similar, I want to use the next 6 months to train up as it’s my last shot and I want to give myself best opportunity

Mine took 50 ish minutes, and felt like id explained each point well enough + general conversation with her and some questions from me at the end. All depends on the example and how much of an explanation they require really

I'd say roughly a week, and then when they did, it was hardly any notice for the interview lol. Thursday had the email, interview was following Tuesday.

That’s great thank you, hoping as an Electrician I’ll have some direct answers that’ll easily relate to the questions, we’ll see! Thanks again!

Buy this, it’s exactly the same, and use an Xbox/ps4 controller as it’s usb and use the joysticks on them

Hi everyone, for those who’ve interviewed already for Birmingham. Have you heard anything back, or have they given an indication in when we’ll find anything out? Thanks

I have just got offered for Tilbury depot after having my interview last Monday. To say I’m happy is an understatement. Training starts at the end of May. Anyone else on here going for Tilbury?

Awesome! That’s superb news mate. My interview was last Tuesday, for Birmingham. This waiting game isn’t the best

I had my interview last Tuesday too and have just received an offer with a start date at the end of May. Over the moon is an understatement. Check your emails!
