Congratulations to every one who has got thru!
I Sat stage 2 in the week, when I came out of the interview I thought I'd gave my best and having been going over it in my head since i think I could have answered that last question better.
I was asked all the time how I felt? I take it this was the same for us all?
How long is the wait to find out normally... I know he said 5-7 days.. Is it a letter or a phone call??

Out of interest what sort of answers did you give when asked 'how you felt' all the time? This is the one part of that interview that has always puzzled me. I would assume they are looking for minimal emotional outbursts, but not robots? Or is it merely a way to fluster you. I'm not sure.

I know said that to me as well, when did you do your interview? Had mine nearly 4 weeks ago
Some people have been told they didn't make it recently got me worried.

Did mine on the 8 th August, they said it was for January. Doubts are creeping in on me too but I thought I failed all they other assessments too. So positive thoughts only

Yeah told me January's the next intake, so maybe there thinking they can take there time sorting out the next group, im trying to stay positive, I feel like my lifes on hold until I find out if I've got the job or not and if I have to relocate, let us know of you hear anything

Same. Can't think of anything else. Staying positive and can't wait to start. I hope! MMI Interviews are continuing until the end of August so I doubt we will hear anything till mid September at the earliest. I can imagine they would appreciate the slower pace as they have been trying to process loads of people for September

I am wondering as they are results, is it possible to check this national database they have to see if you have been successful or not? You know the "two strikes and you are out" rule?

Okay you won't find out if you have an DMI or not but if you say failed the MMI, is it possible for public access to those records as it is about the candidate, I cannot see why you would not be able to find out if you have one strike against the system? Or do you just have to wait for the company to let you know? What is the database called?

I sat my final interview on 31st July and have heard nothing since. I was told it would be between 8-9 weeks before I would find out if I was successful. Reading elsewhere on this thread though some have sat the final interview then have been asked to attend a medical up to three weeks later. Others have heard around four weeks after sitting the final interview that they have been unsuccessful. These all appeared to be the september intake though so I suppose the January intake may take a while longer to organise.
I don't suppose anyone knows how many jobs are up for grabs?

My mate tells me he has got through an interview with Freightliner and has been invited to a test day on 12th September, but he said he has to go Watford for it. This surprised me as to my knowledge Freightliner don't have any dealings or HQ in Watford, did he mean wembley?

It's the structured interview with the opc that you sit in watford

No not necessarily, a structured interview is the second part of the phsycometric testing they do where a psychologist does an interview asking you about set examples ypu have given to their questions. has he passed or done the phsycometric tests? If so im completely lost to why he's going watford.

He just said Freightliner to me, but in the past I'm sure I've heard him mention Lawley street, and I know that's intermodal.

All I know so far is that he has had interview and is going Watford, I don't believe he has done any tests yet!. What kind of tests will he have to look forward too?, will they be difficult?, is there anything I can suggest he does before going to help him.... I know he really wants this so I would like to help him if i can

If it's intermodal you have the dm interview first and then sit the psychometrics

Got letter on Thursday inviting me to DM interview in September at Crewe. I did my Stage 2 tests and MMI on 13th July, so there's still hope!!

Gents - a general question to all of you... have you heard anything about a graduate recruitment scheme at Rugby (Brownsover Hall Hotel) on 9th September...? I've been hearing rumours about it at Rugby depot but have not had anyone further up the food chain confirm it.

We'll be losing two drivers in the next few weeks and will need a few more

No one has mentioned rugby on here. I'm still waiting on my dm results ( possible January intake)but I would defo jump at the chance

That's Qualified drivers only... I read about it this morning.

Not necessarily a psychologist matey! A lot of human resource departments have staff qualified to conduct these interviews now which is a really good thing as I didn't half hear some horror stories of times gone by where outside agencies absolutely grilled candidates and basically tore them to pieces lol

I've had 2 of those I interviews with HR now and they can be pretty laid back just keep your guard up though

I received a letter about my initial training in Crewe starting next month. I'm booked into a hotel Sunday to Friday. Does anyone know what the actual hours are? Is Friday a full day?
