But I know I wouldn't have got it as I answered the questions in about 2 mins. Thought there must have been more on the second page having 15mins then was going to check back through. I knew I made a mistake on one but thought I'd go back after answering the second page. Oops. 15 mins to answer 7 questions seems quite a long time tbh. If I'd have known....

Yes it's the tests first but if you have a pass from another TOC or FOC
it's straight to DM.

3rd time of applying for FLHH, 3rd time no answer. Gutting, as the same application got me through with Nprthern, 1st time of asking. Starting to wonder if that was a fluke

I did the assessment with DBS earlier in the year and have received an interview invite from FLHH through the post, no emails, if it helps clear it up for anyone.

Anyone in Crewe Monday morning for pre screen? Wonder what tests it will involve. I'm heading down from Scotland tomorrow afternoon and staying overnight in Travelodge.

Just got back to Scotland (long drive) after this morning's pre screen tests which all told were alright and fingers crossed I've done ok. Only got through 37 of 43 of the dials questions in 8 minutes but general concensus is that the majority of people didn't even get that far as they are slightly more advanced than the test questions sent through the post.

Word of warning to those heading up tomorrow. DO NOT FORGET ANY DOCUMENTATION. By that I mean National insurance card or drivers license. We were delayed by over half an hour starting today as guys scrambled to get stuff emailed to the venue.

Hi mate. All pretty laid back. Went quick once we got going. Only 4 tests starting with Group Bourdon. That was the hardest. Good luck to you and everyone else still to do tests.

All went quite well for me, fingers crossed I hear some good news in a weeks time. Only had to take some of the tests as I had passed some of them under the previous old driver tests.

Somebody mentioned that there were fifty vacancies across the country which is good to hear. They are only doing two days of testing as well so I can imagine we are down to the last 200-250 or so?

I recently sat these tests for another FOC and only managed 28 out of the 43 but still passed - I suppose it's the total number of correct answers that matter on this one

Same process as above for me, of course. Still people pitching up with no ID or NI numbers.
Found it OK, Group Bourdon was surprisingly tough!
Hopefully will have done enough to get through!
Was surprised at the amount of people in t-shirts and jeans - would have thought that a selection/recruitment process, whether for a bin man or a judge, would have demanded at least a shirt and tie/jacket combo?

4 sessions...around 50 per session....id say about 200 Sammy.

I couldnt believe some of the choice of clothing on offer. I wore shirt and tie and whilst I am not saying that people shouldnt have the freedom to wear/look like they want....testing or not there were some proper scruffbags on show on my testing day. I mean to wear jeans and trainers is one thing but to turn up with leather shoes on, no socks and a beard like ZZ Top seems a bit OTT to me.

Maybe its because im a bit anal being in the military and all but is that seriously how people turn up to interviews/testing nowadays? You never know who is going to be there.

Anyway hope to hear back later this week so will check in then. I agree that the Group Bourdon which i have previously done before for my Air Traffic Control aptitude testing was the hardest test on the day...surprisingly tougher than i ever remembered.

If the 50 job figure is true, then 200 people seems very generous. Baring in mind not everyone is going to get through the testing stage... could be interesting.

They said five working days, so I am hoping to hear by Monday/Tuesday. Somebody said the second stage is held in London as well?

Really excited and hope I have made it through.

The OPC guys said possibly Watford for the stage 2 but possibly also back at Crewe Hall...either way I'm definately on the train next time if I make it through. Maybe a chance to all those in Scotland to meet up and have a beer on the way down and stay overnight somewhere. I expect to hear by Friday...That's what the lads said.

Opc told me too that it was Watford in July. Surprisingly, they asked us to do a survey afterwards and about a quarter didn't stay. It seemed a few weren't taking it seriously and although no zz top beards most candidates looked fairly smart. The timing was the toughest part I thought. Surely we'll soon find out how we did.
