Evening all,
Just saw this vacant for MSO at Freightliner, anybody any experience of this role, shifts, wages etc? Just looking for any info before applying.

Hi mate. It all depends on the location as to what the job involves. Such as at Felixstowe, an mso will be responsible for shunting, arriving trains, train departure checks, and will get involved in light repairs to the wagons etc. Whereas at other locations they can be shunters, tug drivers, reach stack drivers, crane drivers etc etc. Shifts and wages I assume will vary also from location to location, though more than likely earlies, lates and nights and the odd Saturday. Defo worth applying though mate.
