Freightliner Mossend-York training runs

Does anyone know what these are for, other than the obvious!

It looks like it's run quite often, judging by the amount of photos of 86's and 90's stabled at York. Does anyone know when it's booked to run or is it as and when?

It's route retention for Sleeper drivers so that they can divert up the ECML as and when required. As for when it runs I'm not entirely sure but I suspect only when a driver requires it to keep their route card up to date.

It's run southbound on Thursdays and northbound on Fridays for the last two weeks. It's down to run again this Thursday (14th). Arrives York at about 1615.

It's not looking hopeful for this today, the working's not showing as having left Mossend.

Not used that website before,has it not ran? all the real time rows are filled out but just with the booked timings. Unlikely it ran perfectly to time all the way.

Also says timed for 75mph diesel.. presumably 66
