Freightliner FLAs and KTAs

With the official launch of the Southampton - WCML HiCube freight guage expansion project, I counted a total of 29 KTAs and 9 FLAs disused in sidings north of Southampton Maritime.

Thus i ask, what is going to happen to these lowleveled type intermodal wagons now that the route can take HiCubes on conventional wagons (FEA, FSA, KFA etc)? Will we see Freightliner placing an order for more FEAs?

I understand DRS have recently placed an order for lowleveled wagons, should they cancel this and just by ex Freightliner FLAs on the cheap?

I expect Freightliner will use them as and when untill there due money being spent on them and then either sell them on or scrap them!

Is every route from Southampton W10 cleared - if not they'll still need low wagons for certain destinations?

Anyone know all the routes and what the available clearances are?

IIRC the KTAs are leased from GE Rail Services and so might end up somewhere else soon. Where? your guess is as good as - or better than - mine
