Can anyone tell me the difference between driving heavy haul and intermodal for Freightliner? I’m talking salary/hours/rosta etc
Can you elaborate on this, or provide a source to verify this? There will be no such thing as FL Heavy Haul in a couple of months anyway.

Freightliner intermodal are being sold to shipping giant CMA and are keeping the brand name, heavy haul will become its own company (rumored to be called Heavy Haul Ltd). The sale is to be completed shortly into the new year. Can you elaborate on this, or provide a source to verify this?![]()

To be fair, I know a fair few Intermodal drivers who aren’t afraid to get their hi-vis dirty.Intermodall keep their uniform clean. And have weekends off, and get heavy haul to cover when they go "sick".
Heavy haul get stuck in and get their hand dirty(ish) and have plenty of variation of work and not the same destination every day. A far better job in my opinion. Although as said before, you know what your working and can plan better on the boxes.
Going to be Heavy Haul Rail. New pool cars are carrying the new name now.Freightliner intermodal are being sold to shipping giant CMA and are keeping the brand name, heavy haul will become its own company (rumored to be called Heavy Haul Ltd). The sale is to be completed shortly into the new year.
