Freight Train Times At Long Buckby

on thursday 11th august im going to long buckby station can someone tell me some freight train times going through there please. thanks

One thing I can help you with - if you don't mind blowing £15 - is buying the Freightmaster book. It's pretty useful, I can't find Long Buckby in the book I've got (which isn't the latest), but it might be listed in the latest one.

A rough guide to freight at Ledburn Jn (a year old) is linked below so you can use that as a guide, approx thirty minutes south of Long Buckby but some will dwell at Northampton for some time.

Most of the liners are still in similar timings, 4L75 is currently 2x86 normally but apart from the odd 92 there is nothing of interest unless you drop onto a special move.

As others have said, the Freightmaster timetable (book and online) which
covers that part of the WCML is Rugby; although as Long Buckby is south
of Daventry, you will not see the various trains which run between Daventry
and Mossend, Coatbridge, Southampton, etc, but that is partly compensated
for by a couple of workings (Tilbury to Daventry and Wembley to Daventry)
which you would see at Long Buckby but not at Rugby!
