Well, for some reason I've moved to manchester, and most of the trains going through here are boring and I've seen them a milion times before, (142, 144, 150, 156, 158, 170, 185, 220, 221, 323, 390) Was wondering what freight runs through from trafford park if I'm thinking right, and when and what with? hehe

Should change my local line to WCML or whatever my local one is, I think it's WCML.

Its the bit of line that goes from the WCML to the line into Victoria by the looks of it, don't know the name of it

tuesday, finaly out of the town of hell, was a nice house though :(

You were probably the closest forum member to me - I feel isolated here in Cottingham! There are some lovely houses in Brid, but the town centre is rubbish! And it's a fair way from Hull and York.

The majority of stuff to/from Trafford Park is operated by Freightliner using Class 66s or 90s, with a couple of Class 86 diagrams also, according to the summer 'Freightmaster'. Unfortunately, there are more trains to and from there in the night than during the day!

Surely by the time you add to cost of getting from Manchester to Hull or Brid, it would be cheaper to stay in Manchester to do your shopping! ;)
