Hey,
I was wondering if anyone knows when any freight movements/network rail test trains/anything out of the ordinary are booked to pass through Tottenham Hale? . I have easy access to Tottenham Hale station and would look out for any freight/passing NR trains. Is there a website that could help indicate when anything like this is due?
So far I have seen the peak 12 car trains to Kings Lynn and Cambs, and also a couple of 315's come through empty late at night, with a few 317/379 ECS. I have also seen two freight trains and one NR test train.

Anything anyone knows of would be of most interest.
Thanks in advance :)

Get yourself on some yahoo gen groups, recieve on the spot and advance messages for stuff like this. I'd reccomend se-gen and BritishRailGen for your area.

Intuitively I'd have thought there's little freight through there most of the time- it isn't on a useful route between places and the line is pretty intensively worked by passenger services- the Cheshunt-Broxbourne section that any freight through Tottenham Hale would have to pass along is particularly busy.

Correct - virtually nothing regular, but there should be loco-hauled RHTT
(water cannon) trains starting in a few weeks time which cover that section
of line on a daily (and nightly!) basis...

The Acton - Harlow Mill stone train is the only booked freight through there, although it only seems to run every 27th Tuesday if the sun is out.

If you have easy access to Tottenham Hale, go to South Tottenham. You'll get far more action there than you will at Tottenham Hale!

Aye, I figured that out, I just wondered what with the proximity to Stratford if anything might come by. I was also thinking at night too, as I have 24/7 (safe) access to viewing the station.
