Good morning, for the second Sunday this summer, I have been awoken by a very ‘long’ train passing through the station in the distance. I looked it up on RTT and came across this: https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U34982/2019/09/22/advanced
Last time, the train departed from Hoylake and terminated in the same place.
I really can’t see this being freight, so does anybody know if Merseyrail are sending any of their units down to Crewe for maintenance or some other reason? It’s the only plausible explanation I have. If I knew it was going to come through, I’d have got up and headed up the road to take a look.
