Freight diversions and times

I have seen today that some oil trains have been diverted through Chesterfield. Is this a one off or is it likely to happen again?

Second point, does anyone know if we are any nearer getting freight times on websites like open train times. All seems to have gone quite.

AFAIK, today's diversions via Chesterfield were a one off,
although some Saturday diversions (such as Freightliners
running via Leicester and March which started today) are
long term.

As for timings, Freightmaster Online features a regularly
updated Chesterfield timetable, and I am currently offering
'trial' access until the end of September for just £9, which
is refunded if you go on to take out a full subscription from
October...

I know I'm not really supposed to ask this but how often are the Freightliners through Leicester in the day (08:00 - 18:00)? Heard off someone it's 1 p/h in both directions?

They are nowhere near as regular/frequent as that I'm afraid,
but I suppose if someone was at Leicester for a couple of hours
at the right time of day (mid afternoon), it certainly might seem
that was the case!
