When it comes to freight trains you can't rely on timetables, it is far too common for freight to be very late, or even not run at all.

If I'm going somewhere for freight I disregard actual times, and just go for somewhere that has a good amount of freight spread over an amount of time.

Of course, it is a very different matter if they will actually run or not.
...if it helps, Freightmaster Online features a Walsall timetable,
and unlike opentimes, freightlocate, etc, I manually filter out the
non runners each week, and constantly 'tweak' the passing times
times to reflect consistantly early/late running trains to provide
a more realistic idea of what should run on any given day...
