Good shots and vids, Craig.

I note with interest the mixture of signalling at Hastings station, colour lights at the west end & semaphores at the east end near the signal box.

Oh what a surprise, Craig goes out for Tornado

Nice shots, the one at Vauxhall has to be the better of the lot, the one at Clapham would have been stonking but theres a windmill in the way

I won't be out for it tomorrow when it does a Hither Green-York move.

Cheers mate. Yes, shame about the windmill. All the better positions were taken by the time I arrived at the end of platforms 5/6 at Clapham after seeing Clan Line pass through platform 12 around 15-20 minutes earlier.

I agree with you about Tornado, she will look better with the nameplates applied.

The Waterloo-Battersea loop ECS was via Kensington Olympia (later cut back to Chelsea Bridge) and Factory Junction (Wandsworth Road). It had to use the reversable line right next to Wandsworth Road station to access the line into Battersea Loop. Also, because the train was so long, Tornado had to pass the signal at the Clapham High Street end on the reversable line in order to get the 67 infront of the signal and for the reverse to take place.

Your right, 43046 is not Valenta fitted. Not 100% sure 43046 is featured in my photo though.

A few shots from yesterday from the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway in Kent, where No. 4 The Bug was working passenger trains, something it doesn't do very often. Nos. 3 Southern Maid, 6 Samson, 11 Black Prince and diesel 12 John Southland were also in use, working the main Hythe-Dungeness and return services.
