Freedom pass acceptance during disruption

When ticket acceptance is in place, does this extend to freedom passes?

For example, if the Elizabeth line is disrupted and ticket acceptance is in place on GWR, would a freedom pass be accepted on a GWR train to Reading? What if I was travelling to Cardiff but had planned to use the EL to get to Reading - could I still use the Reading-Cardiff ticket on a direct train from Paddington?

Without knowing for sure I’d probably try to get some kind of confirmation in writing from a ticket office before doing so but would be good to know if there’s an actual policy on this. Or if there isn’t, I could write to each train company and have their printed responses on me at all times (only half joking)

My understanding is exactly that; acceptance means that tickets which are valid on the original operator's services become valid on the replacement operator's services.

Yes they are, hence why the question was asked, and answered accordingly (we don't guess in our answers! I'd hope people won't guess on here, but if someone asks a question based on an incorrect guess, then experts on here will correct them!)

Yes, but only on Elizabeth line services.

For the sake of completeness, a 60+ Oyster isn't valid between West Drayton and Reading.
