Great, I’ll be with a small group of people travelling on Chiltern on the 29th: Two gents and three lasses, so we’ll be two Williams, two Kates and a Catherine for the day. Better get that sorted by deed poll in the next few days then…

I wonder if they will allow 'Bills' to travel free. Southern allowed the relatively similar variants of 'Victoria' to travel free during their offer, however 'Bill' is sufficiently different to 'William' to introduce ambiguity.

I despair at these offers. I really do. They're just pointless gimmicks.

I'd like to see LM do free journeys to the Hawthorns for Wolves ticket holders and see just how many takers there would be :p

Nice little PR idea. Could also be a good idea as if people have the above name, then they may come to London, bring a few friends - company make money - so not all bad.

And supposing the entire population of Banbury, High Wcombe, Aylesbury etc claim to be called William, Kate or Catherine ?

As already mentioned on this thread, just a tacky gimmick.

Unless they can get a fake driving licence/passport in the next fortnight, I don't think this will be an issue :)
