FREE Freight Times

Hi Everyone!
I am after some free Freight times for the easter so when I go Trainspotting but I don't know where to get them from!

I know there is a website ending .NET somewhere but I have forgotton it!

Help Please! First time trainspotting with no freight times thats bad!

Freight times are not meant to be openly viewable so you wont have much luck.

Didcot - you'll get freight every 20 mins or so normally.
Banbury - if I'm not otherwise mistaken, most freight that goes north from Didcot goes through Banbury.
Guildford - hardly any, only next week will you see an increase with the Basingstoke blockade.
Reading - you'd be better off going to Reading West.

No, Good Friday is generally considered to be a bank holiday - I'd say service levels will likely be cut in half roughly.

Bank Holiday = Saturday freight timetable.

Therefore, close to none freight in most cases... I think only 10 trains a day run to Southampton on Saturdays.

Thats a shame me and nath were hoping for a bit because tom said they all go via westbury (frieghtliner ones) and then through didcot , Is there alot stabled on a saturday at didcot because there might be a tiny bit around?

If so it'll probably see more freight than passenger services

Ok i'm gonna say the simplest option.

www.ews-railway.co.uk

etc...

Look up delivery times and where they are then just look at a public timetable how long a normal service is +/- a few mins or so then there you go. STand outside Portsmouth all ready for free.
