Fratton platform height

Hello,
Making a journey from Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour soon, returning from Fratton though.
I didn't consider this when booking but unusually high platforms are a difficulty.
Can anybody tell me if the London-bound platform at Fratton is unusually high at any particular end to avoid please?
I might have to book a ramp if necessary but if it is "normal" height should be OK.

Thank you, I suspected as much somehow.
Kicking myself for not booking from Portsmouth Harbour.
Did Fratton as it was a shorter distance from the purpose of the visit.
Hopefully the station staff might be able to advise the best place to board.

Assuming you've purchased advance tickets. Can these easily be amended in view of the circumstances, or could you maybe just get an Anytime Single from Portsmouth Harbour to Fratton to allow you to travel back to London Waterloo from Portsmouth Harbour (at the end of the line), if that potentially works better for you. Also mean that you'll have more time to board the train (at Portsmouth Harbour) without being rushed.

As it's the inside of a curve you will find stock with end doors particularly difficult, and most of the Waterloo via Guildford trains have them.

You are perfectly entitled to ask for assistance, but I think the Harbour solution is the best. You might even be allowed to board with your Fratton ticket if you ask - SWR on Twitter might even permit it...

An alternative is to use a Southern train from Fratton to Havant and change there, but (1) you couldn't be sure the conductor would allow it and (2) there are only 2 Southern trains an hour ATM.
