It’s been a long time since I’ve visited. I’d quite like to go again but while ever they have persisted with the stupid (IMO) requirement for customers to commit to / book specific trains rather than allow people to hop on and off I haven’t - and shan’t - bother.

I think it's something a lot of railways had to do after the pandemic. I'm not a fan but in times of financial restraints it's no good the railways operating empty trains to a timetable

Take it that this is the Foxfield (heritage) railway line near Blythe Bridge in Staffordshire, not the Foxfield on the Cumbrian Coast?
