Not sure if this is the right section, but, While I was out walking the dog i found this old sign in the bushes, after giving it a wipe (it was covered in moss and mud) I saw it was an old railway sign, it was on some old land next to Beighton signal box, the land is now used by a sheep dog training club but when i was a kid this land was a truck stop where lorry drivers would park up for the night and even before that I believe the land was something to do with the old Beighton Station and crane maintenance depot that was behind it, I don't think the sign is from Beighton Station because that was demolished a very long time ago but Woodhouse Station is not too far away from here so it may be from there, the sign appears to be made from Bakelite but i may be wrong but it's not a new light plastic one, I have never heard of TUCC's before. If anyone could shed any light as to when (year?) and where it might be from I would be grateful.

Thanks

David

edit, I apologise for the picture quality, my xperia has died on me so had to use an old nokia

I'd say late 70s or early 80s. It's a lovely find.
