Is the Freedom of Severn and Solent valid to Axminster or Honiton?
I ask as there seems to be contradictory information, FGW seem to think Axminster map while NRE seem to think Honiton map

Axminster is in Devon as it is, so I would be very surprised if Honiton was included as well.

And don't forget that the TOC's interpretation is *usually* [*cough* SOUTHEASTERN *cough*] correct.

Whichever interpretation that is most beneficial to the passenger is the correct one.

Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts etc etc.

Not strictly relevant, but it has always intrigued me why the FOSS is not valid on Eastleigh - Fareham.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday as it happens.

I suppose the people who set the rover fares at ATOC only have a 1980's third rail map.

It'll be so that they can 'ching' passengers on those late night FGW services that go via Eastleigh without any explanation in the timetable.

Then there's another potential hazard, cos according to NR it isn't valid on SN services who provide half the services from Cosham to Southampton...
