When practical. We are intending to restore it at some stage in the future but we have things that are considered to be a higher priority considering the ease of use of the Forum now on mobile.
Not that it counts for much, but I agree with this decision. I was initially quite put out that Tapatalk support was removed, but having used the mobile interface for a while I definitely won't be switching back.
If it's open to discussion, I'd say no. The Quizzes and Games sub-forum is a a little different to others in that those who participate will likely post quite frequently as they make guesses. General Discussion is more like a 'normal' forum in that it is discussion based.

I take a contrary view: when the forum was on vBulletin you needed Tapatalk for a useable mobile UX. XenForo is as easy to use on mobile as it is on desktop so I actually prefer the consistent UI and UX between platforms.
That's one way to look at it, but to my way of thinking Tapatalk was/is a cludge to get around the fact that mobile UX leaves a lot to be desired with a lot of older forum platforms rather than aggregation of distinct fora. You're perfectly happy (one presumes) to go to different websites to view your forums when using a desktop platform after all.
The view on a mobile is much better. But as a visually impaired person the ability to have white text on a dark background that Tapatalk can provide is much better for me and the font is larger. I appreciate I am in a minority but thought I would make the point that this is why I would like Tapatalk support back on the forum. I will patiently wait with fingers crossed.
That doesn't make it any less valid a point. But you do raise an important point - I may have missed it but do we have a high-contrast theme available for the forum?
