Has anyone ever changed their forum skin? I'm currently using First Scotrail class 170, it looks like this:



There's this, Loadhaul, a Grand Central HST, Wrexham & Shropshire, an EWS Class 90, all sorts.

Been using the Loadhaul Class 60 one for ages now. Never really felt the need to change it to anything else....

I like to think the default is set as a Voyager to annoy as many people as possible

I stick to the fluid ones to take advantage of 1440 pixel width

edit: For mobile users the mobile skin does the same as the old app did - useful if one is on the move

This is a modern forum so it needed the hight of modernity as part of the default theme

These days I've got the Wrexham & Shropshire theme on my computer as I love the photo, but Lightweight on my phone and tablet as it is easier to navigate. Really annoys me when the bus bit uses a completely different theme, was fine until the new branding was rolled out

Of course! It's an obsolete mode of transport which we can only hope will soon be consigned to the dustbin of history hence the ancient bus in the picture

I don't think you can fit a 1930's bus in a Class 321

This is a modern forum

Maybe some of the discussions are modern, but the forum software is ancient. It's currently running vBulletin 3.8.8, and version 4.0 was released in 2009.

There are plans in place to upgrade the Forum to European Forum Traffic Management System Level 3 at some point. Government sources have hailed this as the greatest investment in Forum infrastructure since the Victorian era.

For comparison purposes as some forum members also use the SSC website, SSC currently use vBulletin 3.8.8 Beta 1.
