Forum layout question.

Has anyone else noticed that the forum layout has changed? I think this has just happened this evening? I do quite like the new layout. I must say i really like the new photo of the 170. One thing that is a bit annoying though is that it no longer allows you to click on the logo in the top left corner to return to the home page.

That's strange. Its giving me a completely new layout (see attached screenshot). I have only checked on my phone so maybe it is still using the old layout on desktops and laptops. I am on the train on my way home now so i will check on my computer when i get back.

Perhaps you've inadvertently clicked on the style chooser in the bottom left corner. I suspect the site uses cookies to store the style choice, since I've got the 170 picture on my laptop, and the 90 on my desktop machine. It's easy to switch it back if you need to.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't even aware that it was possible to change the design. I have changed it back to normal now. I don't remember clicking on it or changing anything. I suppose i must have just clicked on it by accident without even realising.

Hadn't realised (or had forgotten) the style chooser at the bottom. There is the option to change it in UserCP too, which will change it for all sessions. I guess the style chooser at the bottom will override this, based on cookies as suggested.

It does seem like a bit of an oversight to not have the RailUK bit at the top go to the homepage on some styles

Well I for one am glad you mentioned it. I have never noticed that style choice in the bottom left corner. I have a nice picture of a class 90 now.

I have a question - how do you change the style back from the 'Mobi' style in that style, as I can't work it out and have had to go back and use the style change to change it to another?

Click this link. It should set it to the default style.
