EKR EMU gala over the weekend of 17th/
18th September. EPB preservation groups 4BEP 7105, 2EPB 5759, MLV, and guest units include 4COR motor coach 3142 from the Southern Electric Group.

Haulage will be behind resident shunter 09025 through out the day with the last train powered behind a MLV.

The Electric Railway Museum is having another open weekend on 10/11th September. Details here. They're located on the south-east side of Coventry, near the airport.

It's free admission with plenty of parking on site and refreshments available. I went to the previous open weekend back in May and it's well worth a visit. They've got some fascinating stock and currently have an APT-P power car on loan from the National Collection.

10th and 11th is the Trolleybus Weekend at the East Anglia Transport Museum, Lowestoft. Open until 9 at night on the 10th. Free half hourly bus to Lowestoft and Beccles.

The Swanage Diesel Gala/Beer Festival is on 11th-13th May 2012, and the Grand Steam Gala/Classic Transport Rally on 7th to 9th September.
