Hi there. I have a key go card, pre loaded with a journeys. I usually travel from hitchin to Finsbury Park, always tap. I did an out of the ordinary journey at the weekend..travelled into Finsbury Park on Saturday but stayed over in London the night (I usually travel back the same day). When I travelled back on Sunday I saw the train approach and ran for it without thinking and forgot to tap, totally my mistake as I was just sleep deprived and anxious to get back quickly. I have been issued with Govia thameslink witness statement receipt. I’m extremely fearful of a criminal conviction..please may somebody advise of the next steps and likely outcome here? Thanks
