Long title I know. I recall once seeing a timetable years ago for the service from North Shields ferry terminal to Newcastle, and the Go Ahead Northern timetable (as the firm was known then) had two buses on the front. One was an Atlantean in a livery for DFDS, but the other was a Metrobus, in a black and white advertising livery, which read "Fur Storbritannians beste buttiker, Eldon Square Newcastle", or something like that.

Could someone translate it into English please?

You seem to have given us a nice blend of German, Dutch, Norwegian and Swedish. :D

May I suggest: "For Storbritanniens bedste butikker, Eldon Square Newcastle", which seems close, and would be Danish?

Or Norwegian: "For Storbritannias beste butikker, Eldon Square, Newcastle".
Or Swedish: "För Storbritanniens bästa butiker, Eldon Square, Newcastle".
Using Google Translate, so pinch of salt, but does one of these feel right?

I suggest it wasn't Russian: "Для Великобритании лучшие магазины, Элдон Скваре, Ньюкасл" ;)
