How do you force wrong line moves? I'm having a play around with creating a scenario where the player locomotive has to rescue a failed train. To do this you need to approach on the wrong line (it isn't bi-di) and so far all I've managed to get is a route that runs around and comes up behind the failed train which isn't much use at all when I need the player train to be at the front!

For reference I'm doing this on the ECML route with the failed train on the Down Fast just south of Northallerton with the player approaching from the Darlington direction.

I'd have said at a guess, to Waypoint it via the other line, if you get my drift, although given what you've said, you seem like you'd have known that anyway! :P

That, I think, only works on manual points. Automatic points (like the ones I'm dealing with) aren't controlled like that. Certainly I've just had a play around and parking up in front of a set of automatic points and asking them to change didn't work (even though it would be a more direct if 'wrong' route). Also it would be a bit of clunky work around having to ask the player to change the points manually when it should be done automatically.
