Hey guys

For those who applied for the Conductors or trainee driver posts at Brighton, it will be a little while yet

I have just spoken to the recruitment people, and they are still sorting through applications, they have had a "Large" response to both positions, so are sorting through the applications and then the people that have been successful will be notified

FYI over 1200 people applied for Trainee driver

If I get chosen from 1200, I will consider myself very lucky indeed!

Hi guys. It doesn't mean anything how many people have applied for the position. Anyone can apply. The will weed out a lot of people at screening, then 2 assessments, DM interview... A lot of people keep trying, but it's a long way up. I wouldn't put so much hope although I don't want to put anyone off. Good luck to all applicants.

Mind you they weed out a lot of people and shortly after they advertise for new positions. With no disrespect to the Recruiters, but they want geniuses

Nothing unusual here, some Southern internal posts advertised 4 months ago are still undecided, although staff have been interviewed up to 3 months ago.......

I never realised so many people apply to be a trainee driver!
