Guys support here, can't do it on my own...

Stephen don't worry about it! The Hall's superheater broke by chance, not because of the driver behind it. That Chassis yes its may not be in the best condition but it didnt run straight before you even touched it, it buckled before you even touched it etc it goes on.

From what you have worked with you've done a good job, you know i couldnt do any better myself.

Alright listen to me,

I dont have a drive long enough for any form of track long enough to have fun on, I dont have a 7 1/4 railway to go and drive steam locos. You do, its not "****ing" awfull that 'the things you touch breaks' i think that its ****ing brilliant you have these things to you. Your one luckly lad, Its going to take me 2 years to make a steam loco and no doubt there will be problems along the way. What will keep me going is to know there is no end, these things keep going, that loco will need servicing. But to know that i have a loco unlike other people, doesnt that feel wonderful?

I second that, and everything you touch does not break, 5000 is still going strong (well it would be if it was able to steam up! :? ) after you drove it! The 8F at Spinney, ok was a b***h to drive but at least it kept plodding along! The big thing to remember though, is that when Mike the Met visited Belmont, he broke at, not your hands, but the hands of the owner.....:-x now that really does justify an ARGHHHH!!!!!!

by the way steve, what with the avatar change and all, in future are you going to be 35028???

yes....yes it does.

I have yet to run out of steam on a 8F, although the way Chris was with me on Sunday I probably never will! I was fortunate enough to drive 8200 when the loco actually worked, and it was very good, despite the silly reverser.
