Question: Presumably that is the Lima VXC HST set, which I also own (beastly looking thing) - was wondering if the buffet car you have is also a VXC one or if it's just a Virgin one. If its the former then lucky you! I have been after one for about 5 years!! If you ever decide to sell.... ;)

It's the actual XC version, for both the power cars and the mk3s. :-P We only need Coach 'E' to complete that XC rake.

Funnily enough I saw an XC buffet car a couple of months ago at an exhibition going for around £35. We got ours on eBay!

GNER, GWT and MML HST vids to follow..........

They do crop up from time to time on ebay, the last one I saw was about a year ago and then went for around £40. I am however lucky enough to own the Lima VXC TGS, which is just as rare, and picked it up for £17 off ebay! It was a bank holiday so everyone was out obviously :)

Did Lima ever make the full 7-car rake with different coach letters? All I ever see kicking around are coaches B, D and H (1st) :?

my word, more than two coaches!!!

I've always wanted a Swallow one (cabbed one in this livery at Kings Cross I think, long time ago) to go with my (two coach!) 225. Now Hornby are doing them again...

awesome video.

he'll get tired soon lol. Do you fancy repainting an old bulleid ive got in SWT 442 livery??

Either that or he'll eventually run out of paint ;) but after speaking to him this morning i do know he might have to repaint his TC again to run over the scratch marks after derailing a lot yesteday on an outdoor layout and having no choice but to drag it on its side through a 4ft long tunnel he tells me

You have a bullied already painted in SWT 442 livery? How could you soil such a good model!

Well i havent actaully looked to see how badly damaged it is, it runs better as a 3 TC! yer was quite a good earth fault, the APT one was better, all coaches on there side across the crossovers blocking everything!
