Fat chance, the media loves this sort of story as it gives them an opportunity to be self-righteous. If they don't make reference to it in MOTD2 I shall be surprised although Man City, Villa, West Brom and Wolves should be the focus.
Exactly, the media are true scum, desperate to make mountains out of molehills and sell papers. Just look at the England manager job, it is supposedly the prize job in the English football and yet it is such a poison chalice, the media want ole 'aary and they will get him - the good thing is that eventually they will tear him to pieces.

Villa turned up at the 88th minute and nearly snatched a result if not for the excellent save from Joe Hart - technically his 3rd save of the game I believe. Not quite 8 men but for most of the game all eleven in their own third of the pitch...
Why shouldn't we play in our home kit? Isn't this the reason clubs have three kits (I admit I could be wrong on this)?
Villa have two kits, their Claret & Blue home kit and a predominantly white away kit. City have three kits, a sky blue home kit, a red and black striped away kit and a black third kit.
Both teams submitted their kits to the Premier League yesterday, the PL said that our blue home kit would clash with the blue sleeves of the Villa home kit and suggested that the red stripes on our away kit would clash with the claret of their home kit. The PL never counted on the black kit (well extremely dark blue - think the old US Airways blue) looking suspiciously claret on the occasion. Sky commented on the fact that they had a lot of calls regarding telling the teams apart on TV as it was rather difficult.
That's not to suggest we were planning united vs Southampton excuses had the result gone the other way

That was because the media tend to like sticking it to John Terry, yes the guy and his family are true scumbags (drug dealing father and his awful brothers) but he was in the wrong and it was Wayne Bridge's choice to shake JT's extended hand. If it was me I personally would have flattened him but given what happened then both men acted responsibly & maturely and thus that was the end of it. With this tripe Suarez has acted a bit of a prat, Evra has acted a total prat and Ferdinand gets involved like the prat he is... Happy days for the press.
