I love Ice Hockey. My first live game was at Madison Square Garden. New York Rangers v Washington Capitals...absolutely amazing experience

That seems to be a common factor in US sports, basketball as well, i went to see a game and it was indeed designed so it had to played at an incredibly fast pace. makes a difference from what some football matches can turn out like

Never really got into Basketball so can't really comment on that but watching Ice Hockey in the States is an amazing experience. How those guys stay on their feet sometimes is beyond me. And you don't see any playacting or rolling around on the floor pretending to be injured. Different breed I reckon !

Nottingham Forest have announced that club owner Nigel Doughty has passed away at the age of 54.

Doughty was found dead at his home on Saturday.

He had stepped down from his role as Reds chairman in October 2011 in the wake of Steve McClaren's forgettable tenure on Trentside.

He was replaced in that post by Frank Clark but was still helping to keep Forest financially stable.

A Forest supporter, Doughty has been at the City Ground helm for more than 10 years, with it his dream to guide the club back into the Premier League.

Sadness
News of his death has stunned those in and around the Forest camp and offers the club another untimely blow in what has been a hugely disappointing campaign.

"It is with enormous sadness that Nottingham Forest announce the death of the club's owner Nigel Doughty," read a statement released on the club's official website.

"Mr Doughty, who was 54, was found dead earlier today in his gym at his home in Skillington, Lincolnshire.

"The club would like to appeal for the privacy of Mr Doughty's family to be observed at this sad time.

"The club will be making no further comment."

It's been going on for years and years. Unfortunately I'd imagine it's hard to prove conclusively even if the FA wanted to investigate

I saw all six goals on the BBC News tonight and I am a totally neutral observer. Are you saying that there was no contact by either Chelsea player in their own penalty area on the opposing player? Sturridge who made one of the two tackles is an out-and-out forward without the defensive knowledge of defending such situations. I would have been quite worried if any of our defenders (Oldham Athletic) made such challenges on opposing forwards, in their own penalty area.

That said, I thought that Chelsea's second goal was the goal of the match and was struck to perfection.
