I've lost the exact post in my Facebook feed, but Barca's 2-0 victory over Real Madrid in tonight's Copa del Rey puts them ahead in victories between the two for the first time since the early 1930s.

Apparently 10 Barca players surrounded the referee in order to get Lassana Diarra dismissed tonight. Why doesn't that surprise me? :roll:

Absolutley, try telling that to any Liverpool fan though. The new board completely bottled it by giving Kenny Dogleash the job just because the fans wanted it, its a mistake that will come back to bite them. Good result for Cardiff tonight though, they have at least a chance now.

Re the Cardiff game - wow. All I can say. You should be able to guess from my username I am a Cardiff fan, and even now I am still amazed. Fair play to Palace, they gave us a very difficult time. But we deserved it in the end.

Re the Liverpool game, again the better team won. Man City did well to keep being a threat, and did well with their goals. And Liverpool were probably lucky to get the penalty (although I do think it was the right decision).

In case anyone doesn't know, not including my home team and my main team, Cardiff are #1. I'm not nearly into the business of sticking with only one team as most people are. I even tend to play as Cardiff on FIFA.

Will be great to see Cardiff in the Final; it really will. It would be even better to see them in the Prem, but that's another matter

It will also alleviate any issues there may be with the Valley Lines Challenge into Cardiff Central at the end of the day, because the City game should be rearranged to allow for Wembley.

How can the ref give them a penalty and denies us one for Adam on Dzeko, what about Kuyt throwing a punch at Lescott which went unnoticed only because Lescott ducked? Typical BS.

As for what Barton said about suing officials I think we should go one better and get them whacked. I am livid as to quote General Melchett "that was the crowning turd in the ointment" on a woeful day for me.

A comment on MC if I may.

The way they have been "strutting" this season, anyone would think that they feel that they have a rightful place as the world's strongest club. And yet, they aren't even in the last 16 of the Champions' League, or the Final of the League Cup, or even Round 4 of the FA Cup. If their League form dips even slightly, they could well come away from "their" season with nothing.

So hold on, you're living in Bath and you follow Cardiff City and have an interest in the railways.

Knew it would be that (last years were £38), but still going to be an expensive day when you add in transport (likely to be going by supporters club coach). Still, worth it though. Just got to see how they will be allocated to fans now. Each club will have around 31k tickets each apparently (which in my mind is a bloody disgrace considering the stadium holds 90k). I'm a season ticket holder, so should be able to get one (we have somewhere around 16-18k season ticket holders - so we should get one each).

The trouble with football today is that there are too many overpaid prima donnas who receive a fortune even if they play rubbish, or worse, seem to act as if they don't care who wins. I blame Sky TV and the money it provided to enable this to happen. Now, fixtures are moved to suit TV not the fans, ticket prices are beyond the reach of many. PIty we can't return to those days when most players were local lads with enthusiasm and played with determination to ensure they got picked (& paid) for future matches. Plus, drop the obsession with fitness and spend much more time on ball skills - it is no use being able to keep running all day if you can't do anything skilful or creative when you get the ball.

The battle for the top spot which leads to automatic entry to the Football League (subject to ground facilities) hotted up somewhat on Tuesday night, as the league leaders, Wrexham, lost 1-0 away to Forest Green Rovers and second-place Fleetwood Town took full advantage of this, by beating Braintree Town 3-1 at home, to take over the top position, with a one point advantage.

And secondly, the pressure to actually win something. But on the other hand, us Cardiff fans have a habit of being too optimistic and too over the top with our expectations. So god knows lol.

I thought the final may be on BBC as well as they showed your semi-final live,with the other on Sky - keep fingers crossed.

At least you have something to crow about over your friends in Abertawe - must have been a sickener when you were so close to the Premiership a number of times.....and forgive the pun they Swanned in ahead of you

Finally I notice the fans are in "The West End" of Wembley same as when you lost the FA Cup to Portsmouth and Playoff to Blackpool- could it be 3rd time lucky - remember Wimbledon !!!
