Gabby was awesome yesterday. When he is in the mood he really is a beast. He seems to have had the shackles taken off this season. He still sounds a touch educationally challenged though !!

As I said before, I think things will only get better. You've an excellent midfield and attack, but Arsene needs to focus on strenthening his defence.

Sagna out until January after breaking his fibula at the Lane. No chance of getting a replacement until the January transfer window.

Mr Wenger cannot strengthen the defence until that transfer window, and then we will have no doubt Man City poking around Robin Van Persie. So not only will we have to look to strengthen the defence we will also be looking at replacing Van Persie, and he is the most senior Arsenal player left in the squad.

The midfield is Good yes, however Wilshere is out until February. Song and Frimpong could be good but they both need time to work with each other.

The forward line is a joke Walcott cant score if you give him a open goal, Gerviniho the same, as for Arshavin i dont even know why he is still with us.

I think that Mr Wenger will do what the fans want and that is to leave the club when his contract expires. What will then happen to the club is anyone's guess. Not bad for a club celebrating 125 years. 1886-2011. I think the club need to go back and understand what the club motto means. 'Victoria Concordia Crescit' Victory Through Harmony.

I think Judas Coyle will get the boot from Bolton the reason I call him a Judas because he left my team Burnley to join Bolton.

Also I think Steve Kean is doing fantastic job at Blackburn.

Norwich City may stay up, my mrs went to the United Norwich match and they made a good account of themselves, I watched the highlights and they were unlucky not score.

My bottom 3 will consist of Blackburn Rovers, Swansea and QPR.

1) Rodwell's red card - This is quite possibly one of the worst refereeing decisions ever in top flight English football. What an absolutely horrendous decision it was. Rodwell won the ball fair and square and made absolutely no attempt to get the man. What made it worse was when Hibbert took out Adam later on and a foul wasn't even given!

Everton immediately lodged a claim for wrongful dismissal with the Football Association with regard to this matter. This complaint by Everton has been investigated by the Football Association and the red card issued to Rodwell has been rescinded and he will not need to serve the three-match suspension. His record with the Football Association will have this matter totally removed.

Accrington cup tie abandoned after player suffers serious head injury

A serious head injury to Tom Bender has forced the abandonment of the Accrington Stanley and Tranmere cup tie in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The 18-year-old Accrington defender was unconscious as he was treated on the pitch for 25 minutes.

He went down in the 38th minute after colliding with Accrington goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin and Tranmere's Lucas Akin.

Bender was on a drip as he left in an ambulance, but officials said he was "showing signs of coming around".

The Wales under-21 international is on a season-long loan deal from Colchester.

Assistant manager Jimmy Bell told BBC Sport: "He's been taken to hospital for observation.

"Three players went for the ball and they collided - no one on either side was at fault but our players and the Rovers players are really shook up.

"It is a head injury and we are worried about him. We're waiting to hear from the hospital as he wasn't responding at the time."

Lets hope he is ok

Oldham Athetic's roller coaster season continues apace. Two away wins followed by two defeats, meant that a trip away to Scunthorpe in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy was not one to look forward to....yet they go there and win 1-0 !! Consistancy is evidentially not a "buzz-word" at Boundary Park this season.

@ Paul .... No Scunthorpe United supporters that I know are bothered about the JPT (myself included). Now we're out of the mickey mouse cup, the team can concentrate on getting up the league and getting to the 3rd or 4th round of the FA Cup.

I hate all the big league 1 teams who treat the johnstone paint trophy as a micky mouse cup. INcluding sheffield wednesday who disgraced themselves in it this season.

Momentum from a cup carries into the league. And i dont really care, SWFC are not good enough to go up top or to go up at all too inconsistent so itd be nice if they took the fans to wembley!
