As was Lennon in his time. He does an excellent job of acting like a berk now as well...
Gotcha, knew you Gers boys would replyNot quite sure I would've used the same terminology, but I broadly agree!
Whilst I dont condone Bartons silly fall to the ground - He got slapped. Thats a no-no. Also Song shouldve been sent off for that rather nasty stamp on the back of his leg.. Wenger needs to open his eyes a little better and see that he is still taking Arsenal backwards.
Cue Bournemouth now sticking five past us on Saturday now I said that![]()
Peter Grant, Roy Aikten, yon daft Polish keeper, Martin O'Neil, etc etc There's only one Tony Mowbray !Gotcha, knew you Gers boys would reply
Sort of knew the answer that was coming too, any chance you could use another person rather than Neil Lennon though boys???

I wouldn't put money on either O'Neill or Tony Mowbray returning.
Would quite like Peter Grant to be given a go at that position. He did a marvellous job here at Bournemouth as Sean O'Driscoll's No.2 and West Ham still owe us a friendly which they promised when they took Grant from us. He's such a nice guy we all wanted him to succeed.

Just like Paul Le Guen down Ibrox way, genius that chapSorry bb21, I was merely pointing out that they are a bunch of greetin faced, moaning gentleman of Celtic persuasion. Classic cases of east End paranoia. Tony Mowbray I mentioned additionally, as I was very sad to see him leave Celtic park.

Are we talking about the same Peter Grant?!
Just like Paul Le Guen down Ibrox way, genius that chapMowbray did 'model' a nice line in cardigans though....

I would have predicted 5-0!
All the pundits seem to be tipping Man. City to do well this season. It was a very difficult start for the Swans and I can see them getting a few drubbings along the way this year.
I dont think even the most deluded fan was really expecting anything else from tonight's game. The games that count will be against the likes of Wigan, Wolves, Blackburn and the other promotees. If we struggle there than goodbye Premier League!
As a Scunthorpe United supporter, I can't stop laughing![]()

Our nearest team in sunny Cornwall is obviously Plymouth, first team I ever saw play in around 1974, so sad to see Argyle in such a mess, I take the children a couple of times a season to watch them still, but the way things are going they'll do well to be in the football league this time next season..with 'Honest' Peter Ridsdale in charge...2-0 loss at home to AFC Wimbledon last night sums it up...not good, fair play to Peter Ried for sticking with it for this long, top 'footballing' man
Scunthorpe United 1...Oldham Athletic 2
Whatever happened tonight ? Undefeated home side losing to a side that had lost all their league and cup matches.
It is such a shame to see Plymouth Argyle in league 1.
Breaking news...
Chelsea have just announced that they have signed 18 year old striker (6' 3" tall) Romelu Lukaku from Anderlecht for £18 million, after completion of a successful medical. They say his physique is similar to that of Didier Drogba and that he may be included in the squad for their next Premiership match.
They're getting pretty desperate...
Erm, how?
signing an 18- year- old from overseas and chucking him in the deep end? they seem to think that they'll suddenly sign an undiscovered superstar and all their problems will be solved![]()
