He is doing a good job......of taking Argyle back to where they belong. As an Exeter fan I couldn't feel less sorry for them. My girlfriend is an Argyle fan and I have to try my best to hide my true feelings about it around her!

I don't think he is doing worse at Plymouth than at Birmingham. At Birmingham he successfully turned a well-tuned promotion-chasing outfit into relegation fodder. Plymouth, much as I am ambivalent towards them as a club, are, with the best will in the world, relegation fodder anyway, it's just that they are doing particularly badly with Rooney at the helm.

What about Derby? He did a decent job there working in impossible circumstances with points being deducted due to the off field shenanigans, many would have walked away.

I see that Wolves have finally sacked Gary O'Neil. I can't help but feel that the whole club is an utter mess at the moment with players fighting every week and the owners backtracking. It will take a miracle to keep them stable in my opinion.

I see Wolves have sacked manager Gary O’Neil. Suppose it was on the cards, although from what I’ve read & heard from Wolves fans there are quite a few who should have been sacked first.

Before the Wolves Board rush into another reckless signing, if they hang on a while they’ll be able to get Stoke”s current manager Narcis Pelach who has been in position for 3 months, which by Stoke’s standard is a lifetime so due for a change. Failing that, I’m pretty sure that Plymouth will soon be releasing themselves of Wayne Rooney, should Wolves wish to employ another no-hoper.

However, whoever gets the manager's job, the board will come out with the same old tosh “He’s the manager we’ve always wanted”. No he isn’t. He’ll be the only current out of work manager who accepted the job.

At times when Chelsea go a goal up they cannot finish a team off when playing well, other games have scored more than a few, with that said I didn’t expect them to be close to Liverpool as Xmas approached.

Need a regular solid centre half pairing, Sanchez also the jury is out, great shot stopper but prone to more than the odd error.

That's my opinion anyway and I don't even class my own team West Ham as Premier level.

I think there should be a rule that when a manager is sacked, someone from the board also goes. Boards might not be so trigger happy if that was the case.

Good idea in principle, though if it were a reality, then the board at Grantham Town would never really function. The few directors we have seem pretty useless. Numerous managerial changes, particularly in the last six years have not improved the playing situation. The board members have remained the same few for most of that time, save the odd coming or going.
