I wonder how far in advance are the sales of Women's and Junior matches.

I'm not into football but I was half tempted to try and buy something off the official Chelsea store to see what happened process wise.

Chelsea bought Kingsmeadow in Kingston-on-Thames from AFC Wimbledon to allow their ladies team to play there. It will be interesting to see if they can continue to play at this venue.

I was absolutely against the dismissal of Bielsa, and the way it was done. And it was always going to be a massive, massive challenge for any manager to come in and take the same average (at best) and injury-hit group of players and achieve anything with them in a very short space of time. But, tonight was pretty ugly. We were only in the game for about 30mins in total. It’s one thing getting thrashed by Liverpool, Spurs etc but Villa weren’t exactly amazing and still ran away with it tonight.

If we don’t get anything from Norwich at Elland Road on Sunday, then we are down as far as I’m concerned.

I bet chairman Radz is feeling the pressure tonight.

Only ever in the Football Conference for three seasons, and didn't the K's then get into difficulties following the age-old problems of overspending and having a property developer as a owner ?

Well that’s another kettle of fish entirely. Unless it’s been changed recently, net proceeds of cup games (ie all ticket sales minus the costs of putting the game on) are split 45/45/10 between the two clubs and the FA, so assuming the FA tell Chelsea to get stuffed they’ll then tell the Smogs they can keep Chelsea’s share of the money

Not sure if it's a record but Derby went 36 league games and almost a full year without a league win between beating Newcastle in the PL on 17/09/07 and beating Sheffield United in the Championship on 14/09/08.
