Poor draw for Oldham as they got Doncaster at home. :(

Some good ties for lower non-league teams.

Merstham v Oxford United
Southport v Fleetwood Town
Yeovil v Solihull Moors
Northampton v Harrow Borough/Margate
MK Dons v Spennymoor Town
Gillingham v Brackley Town
Maidstone United v Rochdale
St Albans City v Carlisle United
Hartlepool United v Wrexham/Stamford
Boreham Wood v Notts County
Peterborough United v Chesham

An interesting FA Cup 1st round match looks to be somewhat imponderable.....

Westfields FC v York City or Curzon Ashton

If Hemel Hempstead win their replay against Taunton there is the prospect of three Hertfordshire clubs within a short distance from each other simultaneously playing possibly their biggest matches for many years

Borehamwood vs Notts County
Hemel Hempstead Town vs Barrow (currently 4th in National League)
St Albans City vs Carlisle United (currently 3rd in League 2)

Looks like the local plod will be busy on November 5th.

Indeed and I think Spennymoor are capable of pulling of a shock at MK;)!

it is good to see Darlo cast offs doing such a good job ;) At least 11 of their first team squad have played for us in recent years. They are well funded & backed by a rich owner and have risen up the leagues in recent years after enjoying being the big fish in the northern league for a long time - they didn't take promotion for a few years. They may well play at a higher level next season.

They were rivals for us in the Northern League and Evo stick but we beat them.

I would expect at least one of Boreham Wood's and St Albans' games to be moved for TV coverage.

Shortwood United 2...Winchester City 1 (Meredith 52, Price 77; Jenkinson 2)

A disappointing result for City as they lose in the league for the first time since facing Hereford. They got off to a dream start when Andy Jenkinson's cross went in off the post, but Shortwood came back stronger in the second half, although City were unlucky not to come away with the point. Next up, a trip to Taunton, and speaking of Taunton...

Shock of night result came at Boundary park. ;)

Oldham 2-0 Scunthorpe

Oldham win for first time at home since April (in league) and beat top of table leaders, after seeing Oldham tonight they don't look side that current in bottom 4 but overhand Scunthorpe were poor and look more like mid table team then top of table.

Hyde United 1....Mossley 2

The Tuesday night match saw back-to-back defeats for Hyde in a four day period. Mossley were 2-0 up by half-time and it seems that Hyde put far more effort into the second-half. An attendance of only 197 for a mid-week match and Hyde after these two defeats find themselves in 18th place.

Hard to imagine that only a few years ago that Hyde United were a Conference Premiership side,,,<(

I've forgotten what it was like to lose 2 games on the bounce, and to lose by more than one goal... Part of me is miserable, but then I look at the table and see us in 4th place, and I'll take that in May!

A great win for Darlo today: 5-1 at home v Worcester. Still no clean sheet sadly!

Boro got a point at the Emirates. Possession stats show 75/25% split in favour of Arsenal. A real backs to the walls effort and Boro could have nicked it at the death.

Hyde United 3...Burscough 2

This was expected to be an easy match for Hyde against the bottom of the league side who had only amassed four points from their first 12 league matches, but we have come to expect Hyde to find difficulties where there should be none and they only won at home by the odd goal in five, to move up two places to 16th place.

Having the best centre forward in the league helps. Ricky Miller scored 4 today in under 30 minutes.

Taunton Town 3...Winchester City 1 (Rogers 41, Irish 51, Hoyle 90; Neighbour pen 90+4) Att: 370

Winchester City's poor away form continued as they went down at Taunton. The hosts took the lead shortly before the break, and got two more at either end of the second half after flaky defending from corners, before Howard Neighbour reduced the arrears from the spot with virtually the last kick of the game. And then the coach took a detour via Bournemouth, the players having been granted a night out.

Other Results:

AFC Totton 3...Slimbridge 1

Bideford 1...Paulton Rovers 1

Bishops Cleeve 1...Yate Town 2

Bridgwater Town 0...Swindon Supermarine 5

Hereford 2...Didcot Town 2

Mangotsfield United 1...Shortwood United 5
