Any team with a striker with the record that Jordan Rhodes has had over the last 5 years available, that doesn't select him for the qualifiers, doesn't deserve to qualify.

It seems Everton have agreed with Southamton to sign Ronald Koeman and his backroom team for £5million.

All done and dusted before anybody gets too excited, fuss about nothing. Still I'm sure as far as Eva is concerned there is no such thing as bad publicity:roll:
And a couple of million better off most likely. Certainly more than she was initially offered to go quietly.

I think Josie was correct on the day, she shouldn't have gone onto the pitch therefore reducing them to nine men.
But the holding and then carrying on with the grudge was wrong. But a lot of the 'great' managers held grudges.

I think you may want to read a piece by Sam Wallace in todays Telegraph.
Then again, you probably don't as it might open your eyes to the truth a little and thats the last thing you want

And your obviously another Chelsea hater jumping on the bandwagon:roll:

I think that's fair comment but Eva is clearly a gold digger. Jon Fearn, the male member of the medical team involved in this incident, didn't seek to take it any further.

The player seemed to be injured and the medical team were called on by the referee.

Based on those two facts I don't see why she was in the wrong at all.

The medical do not and should not care about the number of players on the pitch. If they and the referee feels a player needs medical attention then that is all they should care about.

If players feign injury to gain an advantage, then they really shouldn't be surprised if the referee and medical staff think they need medical attention!!

That much of a gold digger that she turned down a settlement offer of over £1M and risk getting nothing in court. Great gold digging that.

If you don't see any difference to the way the two were treated in this case then you clearly haven't been paying attention. The very fact Chelsea offered to settle must tell you something.

As for the rights and wrongs of the original incident it's pretty clear that she was asked on to the pitch by the officials. Her only concern as a medical professional was to fulfil her duties as such.
Chelsea under Mourinho were masters at wasting time late on in tight games by players going down "injured" This time it happened to bite them on the ass. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

The fact that Chelsea and Mourinho imploded after this incident just made it all the more fun for us "Chelsea haters"

Taking a break from the bigotry and scalp-claiming for a moment, Evesham United have called for Cinderford to be thrown out of the Southern League, because...

1. Cinderford finish top of Division 1 South & West.
2. Cinderford refuse promotion.
3. Rather than promoting Taunton Town (Play-off runners-up), the FA reprieve Stamford, move Corby Town to the Southern Premier, and move Evesham to the Northern League. Unsurprisingly, Evesham are none too happy about having to travel as far north as Yorkshire, and missing out on the prospect of sell-out games against Hereford and Salisbury which would net them an estimated £25,000.

The England squad were due to visit the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing on the Somme which is a 70 mile trip by air conditioned luxury coach.
It has been scrapped as according to the team doctor the journey would be "too draining" that's a 1hr 20 min drive that is too taxing for the little snowflakes.

Your opening post on this subject said it all. I hardly think this incident caused and impoloding, yes we've had a bad season by our own standards but still beat Arsenal home and away.

No class whatsoever, completely typical of your average Chelsea fan.

I'll take that as a compliment!

Whilst I can understand Evesham being none too happy surely Cinderford were just refusing to live beyond their means? It seems much of the problem was Cinderford not announcing it until after the play offs had been completed?

I think the whole pyramid needs a shake up below the Conference or whatever it's called now anyway.

I think that's fair comment but Eva is clearly a gold digger. Jon Fearn, the male member of the medical team involved in this incident, didn't seek to take it any further.

Carneiro, after having vile sexist abuse screamed at her, was forced out of the club. Fearn, on the other hand, was back in the dugout a fortnight later.

But don't let facts get in the way of a rant (funny how men are never "gold diggers" innit). Jose Mourinho certainly doesn't.

No, she's medical staff, if a player is injured it is her job to go and treat him. If a player is treated for an injury he (briefly) has to leave the field of play. Either Hazard was injured, in which case Mourinho can wind his neck in, or Hazard was cheating, in which case Mourinho can wind his neck in. Given that Chelsea routinely tried to waste time with "injuries", I think we can guess...

The thing that strikes me most about all of this is just how pathetic the FA have been in this situation. There was repeated evidence that he called Carneiro the most vile names, but they decided to take no further action against him for it. But then, as we know from Richard Scudamore, the FA couldn't give a toss about sexism in football.

Mourinho should be starting his career with Salford with a 20 game stadium ban, to be quite honest.

Well you could go as far as saying everybody involved in top flight football in this country is a gold digger then?

It was just a disagreement between a manager and a member of his staff in the heat of a game, if Eva is really that sensitive maybe she shouldn't have got involved in football in the first place?

And why should the FA get involved anyway? Surely it's a private matter between employer and empolyee?

And if he'd yelled that she was the "filthy daughter of a whore" during the game, only to apologise when he'd calmed down, I'd agree with you.

Instead, Mourinho effectively sacked Carneiro.

The other person involved was back in the dugout in a fortnight. Carneiro wasn't. She was forced out of the club.

As I said, don't let the facts get in the way, eh. She's a woman, she must be a delicate little flower, but also a gold digger. The cow.

My final word on this topic, if that is what Mourinho said then I certainly don't condone it but she has certainly milked the situation for all its worth.

He put forward written evidence that pretty much confirms he said it, he just claims it was in general and not directed at her.

Evesham? Northern? Which division have they gone into? NPL? The decision to reprieve rather than promote seems about normal.

In Conference North this year we have Brackley and Gloucester!

That is no excuse. Employment law still applies. How would you react if you were effectively demoted and then dismissed from your job without any due process for performing your job exactly as instructed?

Evesham are (provisionally) in NPL South. Their appeal will be heard on the 21st; if it's successful, Histon will be moved into the NPL South and one side (probably/hopefully North Leigh) will be moved from South & West into Central.

Nice and complicated!
