Sheff Utd 3-0 Oldham

We were poor today and Sheff Utd could be 3/4 nil up at half time, we were slight better in second half but Sharp scored on 77th mins to end any hope of us getting anything out of game.

Other results have gone Oldham way as none of bottom nine won today, massive game for Oldham and Blackpool on Tues night and if Oldham can beat Blackpool we move above Doncaster (who sit in 20th) and out of bottom 4.

Winchester City keep their promotion hopes going on a day when the rest of the top six all won. The game started quickly and Jamie Barron gave the visitors an early lead when he hit a volley from the edge of the area past an unsighted Wantage keeper. After an open period Wantage failed to clear a corner and (who else?) Warren Bentley doubled City's lead from close range, before missing a penalty after a Wantage substitute was sent off for denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity. Wantage looked to get back into it in the second half but having made a substitution their sub's first action was to be sent off for a nasty foul, before Jamie Barron making it three in stoppage time. Next up, the visit of Taunton, who have the best away record in the league.

I think there's quite a way yet before it becomes untenable- nobody takes any notice whatsoever of Piers Moron or the mouth-breathers at Arsenal Fan TV. But it's not good right now. The big question is not whether Wenger should be sacked, it's whether we can replace him with someone better.

Both Liverpool and Manchester United are great warnings about what happens when a dynastic manager isn't replaced properly. The retards holding up the banners ought to be careful what they wish for.
