Final Score are showing why I prefer the radio for football. I may take the mute off when they stop wanking off the top 6.

They are mentioning Villa who are 3-2 down to Liverpool (in between orgasmic praise for Daniel Sturridge) :p

Stop Press ..sorry you lost 3-2 !!

F A Cup....Second qualifying round.

Hyde United will be wondering if being drawn at home against Northwich Victoria will be a bad cup draw

Hyde United 0...Northwich Victoria 1

Oh dear, the euphoria of the first qualifying round win at Darlington suddenly evaporated today.

Too much effort expanded in the mid-week 7-1 home win over Stamford in the league match...

Oldham 1-1 Wigan

Draw was probably right result and we only starting playing better when Wigan went down to 10 men, saying that we lucky don't to been two nil down at half time as our goalkeeper made good saved ball then look like heading in until goalkeeper clean it off line.

Six draws in nine league matches for Oldham this season but aleast we don't in bottom 4 as we move above Scunthorpe and go 20th in table.

Problem is the top 6 have the biggest support base. If they just chat ed about Newport County or Hayes and Yeadon or Mickleover Sports, few people would be interested in comparison.

I don't have a problem with that but the BBC should not pretend to be neutral.

I don't think they pretend to be neutral. They go where the money is. To do otherwise would be like me running the railways and having 6 trains an hour to London from West Allerton because that would be nice for me.

That's an analogy that counts infinitely more for Channel 5, apparently. Anyone would think that Forest dominated on Thursday night...

Winchester City 1...Maidenhead Utd 1 (Glasspool 35; James 89, Tarpey s/o 21)

Winchester City came within minutes of pulling off a cupset against a team two divisions higher. However, they missed several chances in the second half and with a minute remaining Maidenhead pounced on a mistake by Brendan Norris, sparking a pitch invasion by the visiting fans which delayed the match for four minutes.

Despite our domination of possession we created very little in the way of clear cut chances. We are so desperate for a striker it's untrue.

Wolves up for sale, that could be a long job although we have no debt we're very much a club in decline and a very poor investment.

Are you looking at the BBC Live Text on the game? If so, who did you vote for in the poll (rather futile question ;))?

Which uncapped player should be called up for England? Currently, 'none of the above' is leading with 15%. :P

Eric Dier, who I voted for (England need a stronger defence) is second with 13%, whilst Saido Berahino is beating Jack Grealish (the only AVFC player).

Dier has been looking very good lately I would have picked him had I seen the poll

Tuesday night haven't been great for English clubs in UCL.

Port Vale 1-1 Oldham

No surprise about this result but aleast Oldham have move up to 18th in table.

Blackpool have won a home game for first time in 19/20 months.

Chelsea left Eden Hazard, John Terry and Nemanja Matic on the bench. Shame they didn't go with their reserve manager as well :P

And Portsmouth lose their unbeaten start in the season going down 2-1 against Exeter, which leaves Brighton as the only unbeaten team in the football league

Exeter hadn't one at Portsmouth for 92 years until tonight.

Maidenhead Utd 4...Winchester City 2 (Tarpey 32, 43, Huggins 57, Reid 90+5; Bentley 19, 61)

Another cup exit at the hands of National League opposition for Winchester City. Despite taking the lead and having several chances for an equaliser in the second half, they couldn't convert and the hosts sealed their passage with the last kick of the game.

Evo-Stik Premier League

Blyth Spartans 3....Hyde United 0

No real surprise here, as Blyth Spartans are top of the league.

Hyde United now occupying the unlucky 13th position in the league.

They are only top as we lost to Skelmersdale last night through a bizarre goal

You may be interested to note that Darlo have today signed Lee Gaskell from Ramsbottom. He is a prolific scorer who will hopefully be a good addition to our squad

Glad to know that I am amongst the most attractive football supporters. :D

Daily Mirror said:
Chelsea and Manchester United fans are the ugliest in the Premier League, according to new survey

Manchester United and Chelsea have the ugliest fans in the Premier League, according to a new survey of football followers.

United fans are least attractive to supporters of other clubs, with one in 11 (nine per cent) refusing to date a Red Devil.

But Bournemouth and Southampton supporters are the best looking in the top flight, suggests the research.

Dating service, Match.com, quizzed more than 1,000 fans of top-flight clubs on which rival supporters they'd be prepared to be seen stepping out on a date with.

Bournemouth fans were seen as the league's most attractive, with more than half (58 per cent) of rivals saying they'd be happy to date a Cherries supporter.

Their south coast neighbours Southampton were a close second, with 57 per cent saying they'd see a Saint.
