This was at Colwyn Bay FC today. The best thing I've ever seen at a football match.

I'm often in the disabled area of grounds and i've seen a few dogs watching the match over the years.

The stewards at Blackburn excelled themselves this weekend, taking us through a side entrance near the players tunnel which was cool, met a few of the players.

Bad result though, more defensive errors in a game we should have won. 6900 Leeds fans travelled, best away support in the football league this season.

Tonight's match in the Champions League at home to Bayern Munich has a great deal of importance for Manchester City in terms of how non-qualification for the next stages of that competition may be viewed by the owners of the club. The Gooners are looking good at the moment. I'm a Derby fan so we don't have a hope of ever getting back into the European Cup but why would you not want English clubs to do well in Europe? This all smacks of jealousy.

Kenny will be fine. Hopefully the board gives him the backing to invest in two or three good players in January. I have them rated the 10th best side at the moment and had them rated 12th before the season started. He's doing a fair job.

However all four teams doing well in the European Cup helps to strengthen our own domestic league which can only be a good thing. Whilst I accept that English born players are often in the minority it also adds to their experience of playing international football. Which in turn will help us in future international tournaments.

It is the number of English-born players who can be considered to be of International level standard and could form the basis of a cohesive England team that worries me, as an England team with players such as Cole, Lampard, Rooney, etc, who actually have had a deal of experience of Champions League football have achieved "nil points" (to coin a Eurovision Song Contest phrase) in England's vain attempt to win anything of International significance for years.

Rochdale 0-3 Oldham.

Oldham won local derby match against Rochdale today and is first time in over 40 years that Latics have beat Rochdale at spotland, we were better team and played well but Rochdale were very poor today and didn't really test our goalkeeper, only down side were trouble in one of Rochdale stand after we went 2-0 up but that what you get for not having this match at all ticket and having some of Oldham fans in home stand.

I surprise Paul don't mention this but Hyde won 4-3 today as they beat Tamworth and they fourth goal come in injured time (90th mins)

I watched the game today. First half was fine and I thought we played quite well. Second half was just a disaster. A total lack of organisation and composure and we allowed Brentford to counter-attack so so easily. They scored three goals in the second half and it could have easily been six.

Is this a managerial error though... I don't think so. I think we need to remember that this is a young, inexperienced but talented squad (Lee Evans will no doubt end up getting sold to someone like Stoke for £4m) that is tasting their first real bad patch. There seemed to be a sense of panic out there when they fell behind and at that point, the game plan totally went out of the window.

We must not forget the fantastic work that Kenny did last season in securing promotion with what was basically a completely new team. Give him chance. He will turn this around for us.
